A quote from John Keats

The years have gone by; the decades,

Even centuries, have passed.

Ever since Keats published

his volume of poems

more than a century ago,

People have viewed him

As a genius, as a stand out.

Yet, despite what others have thought of him

He managed to confound

The people that

He wanted to tell

His stories to via poetry.

He is a person that could have

Done a lot more

If he managed to continue to cheat death

When all the people around him

kept dying on him,

We might have seen him

Take on even more controversial topics.
